Summer school June 2011

The UCH Education Centre, part of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (www.ucheducationcentre.org) is looking to host a Summer School in June 2011.

The Summer school will enable students from Years 11 and 12 thinking about a career in medicine or the healthcare field a unique opportunity to undertake a week's shadowing/work experience at UCLH.

They will be able to meet eminent leaders in the field at UCLH and attend seminars, visit theatres, wards and A&E to get a feel for working in a hospital environment and to take part in simulated exercises in our advanced medical training and clinical teaching facility at the Education Centre.

As part of their week, we will be providing the students with accommodation at UCL halls of residence and we are looking to plan a few medically related trips to museums and colleges.

 

Rates and availability

Places are limited, course fee is £300 which covers all accomodation and meals.
