3 Day Post Graduate Course

A curriculum-based course in IBD for medical and surgical GI trainees and other health care professionals.

We are pleased to invite you to register for a comprehensive course in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to be held at the UCH Education Centre from 26th to 28th March 2012. The aim of the course is to provide a strong foundation of knowledge in IBD, which future gastroenterologists and allied health care professionals can use as a springboard to becoming specialists within this field.

Learning objectives for the 3 day course

By the end of the course you will:

- Have a comprehensive clinical knowledge of the pathways involved in the diagnosis, investigation and management of patients with IBD.

- Be able to identify all the major areas within the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB) curriculum, which have been covered within the course and apply them to your own clinical practice and patients.

- Have the confidence to be able to contribute to the development of IBD service within your own hospitals.

- Have a good breath of knowledge into the science underpinning IBD research today, as well as have an important insight into research technologies and landmark papers have shaped our understanding of IBD to date (for delegates on Day 3 of the course).

Delegates undertaking all three days of the course and a related course assessment will be in a position to count the course as a module of a formal UCL postgraduate programme in Digestive Health leading to a Masters degree.

£260.00 for 3 days

Allied health professionals:
£150.00 for 2 days
£200.00 for 3 days
