“To illustrate the importance of aetiology and pathophysiology in the decision making of genito-urethral reconstruction by example of live surgical procedures, supplemented by case discussions”
Delegates will have the opportunity to learn prosthetic urological procedures operating
on a fresh frozen cadaver. Each procedure will be introduced by a short lecture outlining
indications and key steps of the surgical procedure:
• male urethral sling
• artificial urinary sphincter
• malleable penile prosthesis
• inflatable penile prosthesis
Live Surgery
A variety of urethral and andrological reconstructive procedures will be demonstrated in
two theatres via a live link.
Deadline: 31 August 2015
Delegates are encouraged to submit abstracts for Poster presentation. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words:
please include the following information:
• Introduction
• Patients
• Results
• Conclusion
Please submit your abstract before 31st of August 2015 to course administrator.
If your abstract is successful you will be notified by 21st September 2015.
The best poster / video receives a £250 prize and
free admission to next year's GURS Masterclass.
